Festival of Lights 2022
On the occasion of the Fête des Lumières 2022, I composed a six-minute loop for the esoteric stroll of the Chabrières Park in Oullins.
From December 6 to 10, 2022, this installation accompanied the rise of the park through three bright themes: the cold, the canopy, and the symphony of colors.
My work for Allumeurs de Rêves was to give life to these subjects through immersive, organic and contemplative musical sound aesthetics.
Part 1 | Frost

Icy wind, discreet footsteps and frozen insects reveal a soft melody of stalactites (from 00:23), setting up a pleasantly mysterious atmosphere.
Part 2 | Forest

Between a stream and some larks, the uncertain rhythm of two shishi-odoshis (02:03) comes to offer trees the gift of breath (02:16), then music (02:42).
Part 3 | Torches
From 03:52 to 06:00
As night falls, mystical lights make their entrance and what resemble songs and orchestras from elsewhere now illuminate the surrounding flora.
